Summer Dress Free Crochet Patterns

With summer just around the corner I thought I’d compile a list of some crochet dress ideas. These designs are beautiful, delicate and light, perfect for warm summer days. I’ve added links to each pattern page in the text below each photo.

First up is this lovely Wildflower crochet dress. I really like this one with it’s bold yet delicate circles. The instructions are in clear and easy to read charts which show you how to make the circles, join them together and make the boarder sections. There are lots of photos showing all the different ways you could combine the elements to make a long or short dress,  make it sleeveless, or just make a top. All very pretty.

Next up is this elegant Nightfall evening dress. This one comes with an easy to read written pattern and a suggested intermediate skill level. This would be great for evenings or formal events.

Or how about this super easy Breezy Shell Tank. This one has a written pattern that’s rated easy and includes instructions to make different sizes.

This summer dress is very pretty with its flowing, just above knee design. This can be made in any size and requires intermediate skill level. Instructions include a chart and photos.

This orange tunic dress is fun and stylish and can be made in any size or length. It has a written pattern to follow but probably requires intermediate skill.

This beautiful summer top pattern could be repeated to make dress. The page is in Portuguese but there are detailed charts and photos which also show how to assemble the top. It looks challenging but fun to make.

Lastly is this flowing long summer skirt long summer skirt with it’s blocks of repeating patterns it looks fun to make. The instructions include charts accompanied by a written pattern.

I hope you enjoyed this post and have fun making some of these designs. Which one is your favorite? Let me know in the comments 🙂

  1. This is such a great idea! I’m loving that white dress as a swim cover too! Wouldn’t have never thought about making one. I’ll have to ask my grandma for help 😉

  2. Oh I love these! They are beautiful! I love knitting and I used to crotchet when I was little, maybe its time to get back into crotcheting again. Thank you so much for sharing

  3. I love these crochet dresses! I remember they were trending a few years ago! They’re perfect for a summer getaway!

  4. The orange one is just what I’ve been looking for, I’d have to do it in my favourite purple, blues and pinks though. That’s just a personal choice. Make it slightly larger and would look great over a plain long sleeve top for winter

  5. I crocheted the white summer skirt but did not make it as long for a wedding. I crocheted a shawl and purse. What I lined the skirt with I also made a sleeveless top. I hope you can open the two files.
