Hi, I’m Kat.

I taught myself to crochet about 10 years ago and never looked back. That day when I picked up a hook and made my first granny square launched an avalanche that just keeps on going.

I started out watching YouTube tutorials and quickly progressed to reading patterns and charts. I’m always discovering new things that I must try out, so much to see and do!

I’ve been writing my own patterns for a few years and recently started producing YouTube tutorials. More recently I’ve been focusing on developing skills to produce better blog posts, videos, photos, graphics so I can share my passion with all of you!

Crocheting also gives me a personal connection to my maternal grandfather who I never knew. He passed when I was very small so I grew up with stories and an admiration for the many beautiful projects he left behind. Somehow the skill skipped a generation and I’ve found myself teaching them!
