I love messy buns hats because they are super quick and easy to throw on over my messy mum hair.

Messy Bun Beanie Hat Free Crochet Patterns

Take a look at this Basket Weave Messy Bun Beanie from The Purple Poncho. The hat is worked from the bottom up using post stitches to create a basket weave effect. The brim is crocheted on last. Intermediate skill level recommended.

  1. Oh my goodness…..These are all so cute!! And each looks like it uses different stitches. Gonna go grab some yarn and start and a couple of them. I really need to tackle the plaid and rid myself of fear!
