How to Crochet the Sketch Heart Cup Sleeve

I love playing with cotton yarn and adore all the different colors it comes in. Since it’s almost Valentine’s Day I thought it was time to use more cotton and develop a different kind of heart design.

Using the diagonal ribbing technique found in my Color Splash Sun Hat and Fast-Forward Chevron Purse designs, this pattern uses variegated yarn to create this lovely sketched and shaded heart design – a very modern and fun look.

I think you will really enjoy crocheting this sweet little project. You only need two colors, there’s some color changing but no carrying or cutting so it looks super neat on the back and there is minimal ends to weave when you’re done! Yay!

For my cup sleeve I used Lily sugar n cream cotton yarn in indigo and azalea but you can use any brand/colors you like! Don’t forget to share and tag me @krazykabbage so I can see yours 🙂
