This design combines ideas from my Fast-Forward Chevron Purse and the many patterns I produced using the millstone stitch. I got a little inspiration from a zig-zag hearts design I saw on You Tube.
I wanted to make a fun little coin purse similar to one I’d bought in a clothing store years ago before I learned to crochet. The yarn used in it looked similar to the fine cotton thread I had in my stash so I started to experiment with that.
After a few attempts and quite a bit of frogging I came out with this beautiful heart design.
I love how it has big hearts in the center and tiny hearts either side. This texture and use of bold colors combine to give a Moroccan feel, and also looks a bit like mosaic crochet style that has been popular lately.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this pattern and I’d love to know what you think in the comments at the end 🙂
