How to Crochet the Cascade Beanie Hat

I just love how this beanie turned out – it’s so colorful and cute!

I drove all the way to Hobby Lobby a few months ago and picked up a small stash of some of their beautiful yarn. Wanting to make something with what I’d bought, I decided to use some ‘I Love this Cotton’ for this project. The cotton I’ve used in the past was always pretty stiff, but this cotton is so soft!

Since, I’ve used grey contrasted with a colorful variegated color-way before, I knew they would work well together. These colors are ‘Pewter’ with ‘Brights Print’ as the contrasting color.

This design is similar to my last pattern – The Chevron Cascade Pocket Wrap. I duplicated the bar texture but just did diagonal rows and not a full chevron, which gives this hat a kind of swirl effect.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy my new pattern!
