I just whipped up this cute spider headband – great for Halloween. The band is made from single crochet stitches. To start you need to chain 5 then single crochet in the 2nd chain from the hook and each stitch across, chain 1 and turn. Repeat until the band reaches the desired length then slip stitch the ends together to make the band.
To make the spider I chained 4 then slip stitched to form a ring then did 6 single crochet in the ring then slip stitch to join.
Leg: chain 4, slip stitch in 2nd chain from hook and next 2 stitches to make the first leg. Slip stitch in the same single crochet that leg came from and repeat to make a second leg. Slip stitch in the next single crochet and do two more legs. Repeat until you have 8 legs and fasten off. Pull spider legs into place and sew on to headband.
You have the coolest and most imaginative crochet patterns I’ve ever seen. You taught urself n these are all your patterns you made up? I am so jelly! One day I hope to be good as you!
