Here is a simple pattern for some triangles. They are worked single crochet in the round and can be made larger by adding more rounds. I’ve included a video tutorial which you can crochet along with if you prefer.
Start with a magic ring
Rnd 1: Ch 1, 5 sc in ring, sl st in top of 1st sc to join.
Rnd 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in same space. 1 sc in next, [3 sc in next, 1 in next] twice. Sl st in 1st sc to join.
Rnd 3: Ch 1, 2 sc in same space. 1 sc in each of next 3, [3 sc in next, 1 sc in each of next 3] twice. Sl st in 1st sc to join.
Rnd 4:Ch 1, 2 sc in same space. 1 sc in each of next 5, [3 sc in next, 1 sc in each of next 5] twice. Sl st in 1st sc to join.
Rnd 5:Ch 1, 2 sc in same space. 1 sc in each of next 7, [3 sc in next, 1 sc in each of next 7] twice. Sl st in 1st sc to join.
Rnd 6:Ch 1, 2 sc in same space. 1 sc in each of next 9, [3 sc in next, 1 sc in each of next 9] twice. Sl st in 1st sc to join.
Rnd 7:Ch 1, 2 sc in same space. 1 sc in each of next 11, [3 sc in next, 1 sc in each of next 11] twice. Sl st in 1st sc to join.
For a bigger triangle, you need to continue the number pattern (1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15 etc) so you add 2 sc to each side, each round.

This is first time having to make these type of ears. And Iโve been crocheting since I was 16. (My age is now unlisted ๐)
Thanks so much for this understandable pattern.
I appreciate you did a video, then you wrote it out. Iโm a visual learner, so then understand the written better.
